Oil portrait painting on hardboard panel
I didn’t set out to paint an angry woman, but it kept going in that direction. I just went with the flow. I mean, why bother fighting the muse? Her face is so extremely red, it was hard to photograph it, but I got it as close as I possibly could.
This is an oil portrait painting of a troubled, fuming woman. It was painted on panel using artist quality paint. Available here.
I was going to calm to redness down a bit, but I decided to just leave it be. I think the emotion represents half of the US after the election, so many will relate.
Video of the making of this painting will be uploaded Wednesday morning at 10am on my Youtube channel. I’m making weekly videos once again. If you haven’t subscribed yet, be sure to do so. You don’t want to miss out.
Be sure to check out my studio sale exclusively at Daily Paintworks. It only happens once in a great great while, like every couple years or so. Help me out, and save a bundle in the process. It’s a win win situation for both of us. 🙂 This sale will be going on from now thru January. More paintings will be marked down as I get to them.
